Afraid you can't use saves from previous versions. (So every load file screen says) Even a minor upgrade 16.0 to 16.1 didn't work for me. You'll have to start over or continue playing in 16.0.

Save compatibility is not 100% between .16 and .16.1. If you experience loading issues, start your game over.
