If you go back later on in her route and snu-snu with her in the shower, the time will advance too. It's just an easier coding job to make both of them behave the same way. Most of the stuff in the game doesn't take the 4-6 hours a timeslot represents |

It has nothing to do with it being easier to implement. Conceptual quest durations are typically narrative decisions made in order to balance both a reasonable representation of what's happening and the time it would take, but also in a way so as to not heavily front-load the playing experience. No one wants a game where the first week feels absolutely non-stop, but subsequent weeks require multiple days of time-skipping. With all that in mind, delays and quests that consume time are likely to be looked at from a balance perspective later in the development process, in much the same way that item and event prices, and stat checks will be reviewed to try and achieve a more balanced playing experience, however in both cases we'd want more content in the game before doing so. As this is not something we'd seek to address directly, or particularly soon, I'm going to suspend the issue here, and carry this quest over to our internal datasets of things to review. |
