This sounds more like a problem with your device than the game, as we've had no similar reported issues. Please provide details on which Windows version you are using, and some basic hardware specs, but be forewarned that it's unlikely we're able to do much. |

I'm using a Windows 11 with 16GB RAM. And an RTX 4050 graphics card. I really don't think it's my pc that's causing the flickering. |

Are you able to provide a video, either screen capture or, for example, taken of the screen with a cell phone, that shows the issue. I agree that the hardware you list seems like it ought to be more than capable, if all the drivers are up-to-date. If possible it would also be useful if you could try other Ren'Py games (running on Ren'Py 8.2 or higher) to see if they suffer from the same issue. Also worth checking if the now more recent 21.0.0-wip.5003 also has this problem. |

We were never able to reproduce this, and as it's not been widely reported chalking it up as a local issue. It might be driver related so worth updating them and trying a more recent release, as it's possible more recent versions of Ren'Py may improve the situation. Feel free to re-raise the issue if you experience it again in more recent releases. |
