Yes, I've only been able to start in Cheat mode, the others are greyed out. At the start, everything went normally but after attending the first day, I went to buy the PC part and after that I can't interact with anyone but Debbie and Jenny, I can't start Diane's mission, all the people are just, gone. If I go to sleep I can progress D and J's basic missions but that's it.. actually after a little bit I was able to go to the library and get the membership and French dictionary but it ended after that. The tasks only show mc, Debbie and Jenny's options and it's already said I have to wait for the next update to progress in the main story.. |

So, I just updated my own post about this but basically, the tech update only involves the start of the game and Debbie and Jenny's story content, to whatever point. They'll be doing releases every couple months or something while they implement the new and updated content into the game. |

As Durkasmurf already noted, this is currently expected in the 21.x versions. The characters and content will return in future updates as they are pulled over to the new version. |
