| Description | I may add attachments later. I noticed that many players (at least 4 players in the past couple of weeks, the last one on Reddit) have difficulties with the phone messages: they don't read them and get stuck with Diane's pregnancy. That's why I choose to write this report as major bug. The same problem also occurs with Daisy's pregnancy and Mia's rescue messages. During theses steps, the players have to click on the Phone icon, then on the Messages icon. But some of them stop after the first action. They have the information, but they don't validate the progression. Others don't see the new icon on the phone image (also because the achievement icon uses the exact same place). In Mia's story, it could have been bypassed by making the reading mandatory when the main character is sleeping (see bug 0001075). While the phone is likely to become more used in the stories, and in particular for the pregnancies of the characters. The message system should be improved. After pondering about it for a while, I propose the following changes: • When a message is received, the main character should have a reminder (i.e. "A new message? Who could it be from?"). • Then automaticaly the screen shows the last message received. • Because the message has been read, the progression is validate. • Of course, the message is saved in the Text Messaging so the player is able to read it again. Pros: the player cannot miss the message, the route progress is more seamless, remove stupid postpone like baby birth. Cons: remove the player's control on the progression, game with less immersion. | ||||
