I think there should be added a button to increase the bike speed momentarily, acting as a throttle. 30 to 40 seconds in a Minigame like this one is a little monotonous.
Possibly brakes to slow the cars down a bit. That could be helpful. I'd love to see the game move to afternoon and evening. Pizza delivery in the morning seems weird, but I understand the extra overhead for day/night graphics may be too much.
