Summary0001359: New version saves on previous version save slots become "old" saves and unusable
DescriptionWhenever I saved on clean slots, the file works fine. However, when I overwrite a slot with a save from a previous version, that save becomes a "old" save which makes it unusable. I wish there was a way to install a totally clean game or at least have a way to delete old saves completely. I've tried to delete the old saves manually via game/saves folder but they still show up in the game, regardless of location of the extract. The new clear persistent button doesn't seem to be working as well.

The saves can be removed from the following location on your desktop:

C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\SummertimeSaga

If you cannot find that location, then you may need to show hidden file locations in the windows file settings. Just remove every .save file from both that location and your normal save location to remove all saves completely.

That being said, you can also simply delete the saves from within the game by clicking the red x in the top right corner of each save icon, which will remove them as well.
