Summary | 0001084: Giving the French dictionary back to Judith
Description | Version 0.16.1. What's the point to give the French dictionary back to Judith? We need the French dictionary to progress in Miss Bissette's storyline, but the next steps can be completed without having to give it back to Judith. And this character has no storyline for now. So why does this option exist? To remove the item from the inventory? In this case, a mandatory dialogue is more relevant than a choice: 1. I have Judith's French dictionary in my inventory. 2. I don't need it anymore for Miss Bissette's storyline. 3. Next time I talk to Judith, I automatically have a dialogue with her about her dictionary, and the item is removed from my inventory. 4. I still have the dialogue's choices with Judith for Miss Ross storyline, for Miss Dewitt storyline and for the fun in the lockers room. I agree that the players should keep the control of the main character (what to do, where to go, what to talk about...); But as Summertime Saga is becoming more and more complexe, the developers also have the responsability to "fluidify" the gameplay. Of course, they should keep the dialogue's choices for the important things: storylines, explanations or sex scenes. Here, giving the French dictionary back to Judith has no consequences in the game.
