What happens ? Do you see the splash screen with the loading bar ? Does it do anything ? Are you sure you got the Windows version ? Have you tried downloading it again just in case your unzip fuckered up ? Does the game make a log when you start it (log.txt, not a traceback, though if you got a traceback, that'd mean Renpy crashed and made an error report) ? Plenty of more info could help |

I was having the same issue, but it might be due to your anti-virus on your computer
My anti-virus thought it was a virus or something, and it wouldn't load.
so try having a look into that |

Yeah I tried downloading again just today still doesn't work, previous versions work fine. And yes it is the windows version. The splash screen does open with the loading bar to full but doesn't open after. I uploaded the log.txt to check since I'm not really privy on checking those for errors. I did check my anti-virus as well and nothing pops up on there, thank you.

Any idea ? Nope
Any fix ? Remove it (unplug), update the driver, delete the driver, wait for Stray to rise from his grave after 2-3 months and get an answer from him, etc ....
Easiest thing is to just unplug it and start the game : it starts > solution found. It doesn't start > keep trolling around stuff.
Also, do other Renpy games load or they all crap out ? If you can't play anything Renpy, it might be your PC. If not, it might still not be the game |

Ren'Py has been known to have problems when it detects certain controllers, especially Razers (https://github.com/renpy/renpy/issues/5459).
Best advice has already been given which is unplugging the controller and then seeing if there's any improvement. |
