| Description | As already reported (issues 3479, 3463 and 3495), the app can't be installed on Pixel 7 (or 8) devices. The system refuses to install it, with a "not compatible with your phone" message.
I tried sideloading the app through adb, and got the real error message : NO_MATCHING_ABIS. As correctly identified by strayerror, this is a consequence of recent Pixel phones only accepting 64-bit app builds.
It seems the Pixels are the only phones affected for now, but with Google pushing for 64-bit only versions of Android, and ARM announcing 64-bit only processors last year, the percentage of Android users unable to install Summertime Saga will grow quickly. Already I'd say the number of Pixel 7 and 8 users isn't negligible.
I hope you'll look into it, and volunteer to test an apk on my device if it can help. |
