Summary | 0002572: Better feedback on events consuming time needed
Description | At present, the game is not clear on what events advance the clock and by how much. This means a lot of save, restore, and skipping read dialogue to get scheduling done right, especially when pursuing multiple goals at once. A pop-up saying "This event will advance time to <whenever>. Proceed Y/N?", similar to what Tokyo Xanadu does with it's affinity shards, would be a welcome QOL improvement.
Platform/OS | Windows | ||||
Version | 0.19.5 | ||||
Summertime Saga is not designed to run multiple objectives at the same time. It is strongly recommended to play only one route at a time in order to limit interactions between the stories. So, the question of planning is non-existent since each step of a route is delayed by at least one day with the next one. Summertime Saga is based on Ren'Py, a visual novel engine developed primarily for linear storylines, when Tokyo Xanadu is an action RPG in which the time is limited. The constraints are therefore not the same. |
