I cannot reproduce this bug in version 0.18.6. It seems to have been fixed in version 0.18.5. |

just had this happen again in 0.19.1 This time it was somewhat intermittent. This time it would randomly give the conversation again if I entered the basketball court after retrieving each book. Sometimes it would only repeat the conversation with Dexter on the court after I aquired on of the books, others 2/3 and other times it would repeat for all 3 books. This time around I decided to do it in the afternoon as I have only unlocked Bissette and DeWitt's classes for easy access, and afternoon I can access Erik without having to waste a chunk of day with the 1st science class. 1. visit library and be asked to retrieve the 3 books from Dexter, Erik and Latinas 2. Visit Basketball Court and receive conversation with Dexter for 1st time (does not repeat if leave and re-enter) 3. retrieve any one of the 3 books (tried all orders of Dexter, Erik Latinas and the behavior was the same) 4, re-enter Basketball court and potentially receive conversation with Dexter about the book again 5. leaving/re-entering court at that point will not repeat the conversation 6. obtain any of the 2 remaining books 7. re-enter Basketball court and potentially receive conversation with Dexter about the book again 8 leaving/re-entering court at that point will not repeat the conversation 9 obtain the 3rd and final book from 10 re-enter Basketball court and potentially receive conversation with Dexter about the book again 11 leaving/re-entering court at that point will not repeat the conversation 12 turn in the books to the Librarian and be given the cheese reference book 13 re-enter Basketball court and receive conversation with Dexter about the book again 14 leaving/re-entering court at that point will not repeat the conversation so far, regardless of whether it decided to re-trigger on the individual book aquisitions, turning them in to the Library and getting the Cheese book appeared to always cause another conversation with Dexter about his book despite having already retrieved it and turned them all in at that point save attached after retrieving the Latinas' book but before talking to Dexter for the first time |

OK, going through the above mentioned fresh file. Long ago completed Miss Bisette's Route and have A+ in her class and can have sex with her any night. While going through Mis DeWitt's route on my way to do the Talent show and I accidentally clicked Dexter's locker instead of the auditorium and the Quick Maffs Book is showing up again clickable in Dexter's locker despite having long since retrieved it, returned it to the Librarian and completed all other assignments for Miss Bisette. This might explain why the game keeps randomly triggering Dexter's library book conversation even after retrieving and returning it. Screenshots and save file attached

I remember encountering the respawning maffs book in 19.5, too, although I no longer have a save file for it. I can confirm that the conversation with Dexter at the basketball court can be replayed in 0.20.0, and I have a save file for it but I can't upload it because it's bizarrely bigger than the other save files (2.2 MB instead of the general ballpark of 300 KB for each of the others, including the other bug report save I uploaded that is the same playthrough but two game days later!). I also confirmed in the other bug report save that the maffs book has also respawned and can be returned to the library a second time, but then once it's in my inventory the third time, I no longer get the "return books" prompt at the library. If it's relevant, I haven't completed Bissette's route in this save -- I still haven't done her last scene. |

I just got this bug also in version 0.20.8, Save file attached it just happened and I had already completed the portion for returning the books to the library. 1-2-LT1.save (320,986 bytes) |

Added note, I loaded my previous save and got back to the point just before clicking on the basketball court and made a new save (attached to this note). When I load this save file and click on the Basketball Court the bug happens every time. 1-3-LT1.save (355,723 bytes) |
